Honeywell automation systems and UOP technologies are implemented at Russia’s largest oil refineries. The Company’s equipment is also present at the State Hermitage, the Bolshoi Theater, the Temple of Christ of the Savior, and the Kremlin. Russian aircraft and helicopters also use Honeywell auxiliary power units, brakes, and avionics. Honeywell humidity sensors are implemented at the majority of meteorological probes in Russia.
Honeywell opened a representation office in Moscow in 1974, followed by branch offices in St Petersburg and Kiev in 1992. Additional business development offices were opened in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in 1998, in Kazan in 2010, in Irkutsk, Krasnodar and operational office in Novorossiysk in 2012.
